THE STORY BEHIND GLOSS PRO AUTO SPA
Hi, I’m Jeff, an internationally recognized detailer holding both Certified Detailer (CD) and Skills Validated (SV) certifications within the International Detailing Association (IDA). The IDA sets the standard for the highest quality auto detailers that exist in the industry and to become certified, must undergo training, hands-on testing and examinations to reach the highest level of mastery. I don’t just detail cars, I believe in continued education and ensuring the highest customer experience and vehicle results in the industry.
I’m also a member of the Detail Mafia and Detailing Success Alumni, a family made up of an exclusive group of under 200 professional detailers worldwide who are committed to improving the businesses and lives of its members through support, mentoring, continued education and industry outreach.

JEFF’S PASSION FOR CARS & MOTORSPORT
Beginning nearly 20 years ago, the day I received my learners permit, my passion for cars was ignited to a new level – I haven’t looked back since. In high school, I was always known as a car guy, more specifically the one with the always spotless black Mustang GT that sounded glorious thanks to a set of American Racing longtube headers and a Borla catback exhaust system. I was obsessed, I waxed the car nearly every week and loved the feeling of having a perfectly clean car that always felt as smooth as silk. This quickly led to my first paid detailing job, outside of friends and family, when a neighbor took notice of how often I detailed my car and how great it always looked. He mentioned his disappointment in the local car wash and asked if I would be interested in detailing his C6 Corvette, Hummer H3 and Mercedes CLK. This was the start of my mobile detailing business, Autotek Detailing, which I ran up until college when I was required to get an internship. Eventually, my passion led me to working in a bodyshop repainting my beloved Mustang a new shade of black followed by flipping foxbody Mustangs that desperately needed my TLC. In college I received my Associates of Science degree in Automotive Technology and completed the FORD ASSET program. I then obtained my Associates of Arts Degree and a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications at the University of North Florida, but this was only the start of my commitment to lifelong education. Fast forward through jobs/businesses in sales, marketing and the automotive industry, I decided it was time to come back to my true passion – people, cars, and detailing. When you can’t turn the switch off, you know you’re in the right place. Now, I just have to use the dimmer switch every once in a while (thanks Renny).
